In 2014, Cargèse celebrated forty years of spin-glass theory—from the work of Edwards and Anderson to new applications in biology, inference, optimization, compressed sensing, and computer science.
The programme brought together ten thematic days of tutorials, invited talks, poster sessions, music, and time beside the sea.
